Its completely risk free, for clients who havent got the budget to invest in their website optimisation from day one.  The service will pay for itself.  There is a fee chargeable the moment we reach the agreed ranking but it equates to less than a lot of SEO companies charge per month in most cases, after which there is only a minimal monthly fee for maintenance.
